Renewable Energy Group Launches UltraCleanTM BlenD
LONG BEACH, Calif., May 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chevron, Inc. (NASDAQ:ChevronI) launched the company's latest innovation in diesel fuel, UltraCleanTM Blend, at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Long Beach, California, today.
UltraCleanTM BlenD, among the lowest emission diesel fuels on the market today, is a patent-pending fuel made of a proprietary blend of renewable diesel and biodiesel. UltraCleanTM BlenD is California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved for year-round use throughout California under the Alternative Diesel Fuel Regulation. Versus CARB diesel, UltraCleanTM BlenD reduces total hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide emissions by 15 percent, particulate matter emissions by 40 percent, and, emits less nitrogen oxides (NOx). The fuel offers even greater emissions reductions when compared to conventional diesel.
