Gary Spengler serves as Director, Feedstock for Chevron Renewable Energy Group. In this role, he oversees finding and securing new sources of feedstock and business development activities with new and existing feedstock partners.
Mr. Spengler began his career at Texaco in 1987 as a plant engineer in Beacon, New York. Since joining Chevron, he has held a variety of leadership positions of increasing responsibility, primarily in Business Development and Supply & Trading areas in the United States and Asia Pacific. Prior to his current assignment, he was Vice President of Crude Supply & Trading and prior to that Vice President of Products Supply & Trading base in Houston, TX. During his career he was also the first Management Sponsor of the Business & Commercial function and was a critical part of building that organizations commercial foundation.
Mr. Spengler graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering and earned an MBA in finance from Marist College, New York.
