For more than 20 years, Todd Ellis has been a leader in sustainable business development for leading low carbon fuels companies. Mr. Ellis leads the strategic planning and sales management for the marketing, wholesale and downstream, emerging channels and co-products sales teams along with the operations services and customer support for Chevron Renewable Energy Group, Inc.
Mr. Ellis has been instrumental in many facets of the biofuels value chain including sales and marketing, feedstock procurement, project development, mergers and acquisitions, bio-based diesel market expansion, public policy initiatives, strategic business development, regulatory affairs, risk management, customer service and educational outreach. Mr. Ellis has worked with federal, state, and provincial policy makers on a range of issues affecting biofuels policies and market incentives, creating strong market demand for bio-based diesel.
Mr. Ellis currently serves as Vice Chairman for Advanced Biofuels Canada and Board of Director for CalBio Gas LLC and the Clean Fuels Foundation.
Mr. Ellis holds an Executive M.B.A from the University of Iowa, a M.A. from Antioch University and B.A from Fort Lewis College. Mr. Ellis enjoys spending his free time in the mountains, rivers, oceans, lakes and bike trails throughout the US with his wife and three daughters.
