Title:Scientist -Protein Engineering and Synthetic Biology Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support microbial strain, pathway and enzyme engineering programs within the company and bring state of the art molecular biology/metabolic engineering/synthetic biology/evolutionary engineering skills to the groups. Position Summary:

Requirements:
Education Required: Minimum of 2 year technical degree in electrical or comparable required
Experience Required: Must have processing experience. Be familiar with pumps, pressures systems and boilers, must have supervised maintenance employees. Maintenance troubleshooting experience required including: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and spare parts inventory.
Skills Required: General knowledge of computers, advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Welding skills required. Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
