Title:Process Engineer Location:Tulsa, OK
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for a variety of engineering duties, including design of new plants and upgrades, continuous improvement of current production processes, management of small to medium size capital projects and evaluation of new technologies. This position will be a technical expert in the process chemistry and production processes at REG facilities.

Position Summary:
  At the direction of the Project Manager, Construction Engineer, or Director, timely and accurately perform and continually improve fundamental, routine project management and field construction activities including tasks related to materials, equipment, quality, safety and project closeout and advance projects by collecting, developing assembling, and providing data and information while maintaining productive working relationships with staff, contractors and vendors.

Position Summary:
REG, Life Sciences seeks a highly motivated “Research Associate” to join the Bio-Analytical Chemistry group in the Research and Development department. Title:Scientist, Enzyme Engineer Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
REG Life Sciences seeks an experienced enzyme engineer to support the development of high-performing biocatalysts for our industrial biotechnology platform. The successful candidate will apply their expertise in enzyme structure, function, and mechanism to guide evolutionary and rational enzyme engineering efforts. This will include the building, display, and interpretation of 3D models of enzymes and their substrates, the structural interpretation of mutational data, and the design of evolutionary strategies for continuous improvement of performance parameters such as catalytic proficiency, selectively, expression, folding, and stability. This position may include the design, construction, and analysis of enzyme libraries for HTP screening. This position will work closely with metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, bioanalytical chemistry, high-throughput screening, fermentation, and recovery engineering to support the development of commercial biocatalysts and processes.

Title:Scientist, High-throughput Fermentation Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
REG Life Sciences seeks an experienced microbial physiologist to develop and apply predictive high-throughput screens to quantitatively evaluate and identify improved industrial microorganisms. The successful candidate will apply their expertise in microbiology, metabolism, fermentation, and high-throughput experimentation to design and continuously optimize microscale (96-well) fermentations for use in the high-throughput screening of engineered microorganisms.  This will include the design and optimization of fermentation media, seed trains, induction and sampling schedules, automation protocols, the execution of high-throughput experiments to evaluate tens of thousands of microbial strains variants a week, and the collection, display, analysis and reporting of large data sets. This position will work closely with fermentation, bioprocess engineering, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, bioanalytical chemistry, and automation to support the development of commercial biocatalysts and processes.

Title:Senior Manager, Engineering Location:Ames, IA
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is leading REG’s process engineering team.  This manager ensures that the team of Process, Chemical and Mechanical Engineer’s activities are prioritized, conducted efficiently and properly resourced.  This position and its team have a variety of engineering duties, including management of small to medium size capital projects, being the technical expert of the unit operations, mechanical systems and components within a biomass-based diesel plant, and the process design of plant upgrades and new plants.  Additionally, this position will provide operational support to existing plants, as well as assist with the development of preventative maintenance and reliability programs for facilities within the Renewable Energy Group network.  This position will also participate in projects with other business units within REG, such as Life Sciences and Synthetic Fuels and will be responsible for coordination with their respective engineering teams.
Requirements:
Education Required: 4 year bachelor’s degree – Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Petroleum Engineering or related degree **MBA or Professional Engineer license is a plus
Experience Required: 7-10 years in a process-related industry, preferably in biodiesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, or other renewable fuels industries; including at least 3-5 years managing engineering and/or operations teams

Title:Senior Manager, National Accounts Location:Ames, IA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this job is to develop, implement and maintain effective and profitable sales and customer service with National Accounts, primarily in the truck fleet sector, both commercial and private carriers.  Position will be responsible for selling and marketing biodiesel, renewable diesel and blended transportation fuels in this market segment.  Incumbent will call directly on these national accounts, and work with existing petroleum distribution to service these accounts.
Requirements:
Education Required: 4 year degree in business related is preferred.
Experience Required: 10+ years experience selling transportation fuels to National Accounts is preferred.
