Title:Coordinator, Laboratory/Quality Location:Mason City, IA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to manage the laboratory, maintain a testing schedule to provide quality testing of feedstocks and biodiesel, monitor ASTM and BQ9000 requirements, and to provide technical support to REG production with an emphasis on maintaining and improving current production quality of biodiesel as well as supervising laboratory activities and laboratory technicians.

Title:Laboratory Technician Location:Geismar, LA
Position Summary:
This position will run many tests for REG Giesmar, including raw material, in-process and final products.  This position will also be responsible for inputting data into the quality system that will be used for qualifying final products.
Requirements:
Education Required: BS in chemistry or equivalent laboratory experience (5+ years).
Experience Required: 0-5 years’ experience.
Skills Required: Knowledge of laboratory safe work practices. Knowledge of petroleum testing. Must be a self-starter, be able to make good decisions on own.

Title:Laboratory Technician, Process Development Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to work in the Process Development Laboratory to support scientists and engineers in the preparation of media and equipment and general lab maintenance  for the development of novel fermentation processes to produce renewable products from a variety of biomass sources. The position is a full-time position; schedule will be Friday through Tuesday but hours can be flexible.
Requirements:
Education Required: HS diploma. Formal training with laboratory procedures and safety practices is preferred.
Experience Required: Preferred 2-3 years experience in laboratory technician position.
Knowledge Required: High school level understanding of chemistry and biology. Familiarity with laboratory environments and safety procedures. Ability to perform simple math and algebraic calculations. Strong mechanical inclination and ability to work with hand tools is a plus.
