Title:Associate General Counsel or Senior Attorney Location:Ames, IA
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for completing, directing, coordinating and supervising legal activities of major importance to the corporation’s long-term future.  This person will be responsible for drafting and review contracts, identifying and resolving business and legal risks, advising on regulatory matters, overseeing litigation, employment law matters, SEC filings, international business activities, and be actively engaged in the Company’s mergers and acquisitions.   These activities are typically highly confidential, may be enterprise-wide in scope and involve frequent interaction with both internal and external parties including REG’s Senior Leadership Team, REG’s technical, manufacturing and operational staff, external C-level management, universities, outside legal counsel and others.  
Requirements:
Education Required: Law degree with strong academic credentials. Membership in the Iowa bar is preferable.
Experience Required: Minimum five to ten years legal experience in a general corporate or related practice, preferably with strong background in contracts, complex transactions, some experience with SEC compliance, intellectual property law and international law. Must have experience leading deal teams. Must have demonstrated experience with large, complex legal matters. Related fuel, agriculture, biosciences or chemical industry experience a plus. Experience at top-tier law firm and/or as company in house counsel is preferred.
Skills Required: Strong legal analysis, synthesis and communication skills required. Decision-making, oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills are required with superior attention to detail. Large project management, formal problem solving required.

Title:Associate Process Engineer – Downstream Processing Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support the development of commercially scalable processes for the recovery of biochemicals and biofuels from fermentation broth.  This hands-on position requires an in-depth knowledge of various lab and pilot scale equipment and process systems, a desire and ability to work as a team to conduct various lab and pilot scale development activities, and to support process development engineers.

Title:Associate Process Engineer – Fermentation Process Development Location:South San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to work with senior engineering staff in the design, execution, and scale-up of novel fermentation processes to produce renewable products from a variety of biomass sources. This hands-on position will assist in the lab and pilot plant in the day-to-day operations to support the development and optimization of new, robust fermentation processes, media design and microbial fermentation process development at both the shake flask and at various bioreactor scales.

Position Summary:

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that quality product is shipped and received from the facility in the most efficient manner.

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide coordination, action, and leadership to enhance continued compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations regarding environmental and safety control, permits, regulations, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related field, either in chemical, safety or environmental discipline preferred. 5 years of plant experience with relevant industrial experience.
